Hearing Brain Lab is directed by Dr. Francis Wong, Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies (LMS), School of Humanities (SoH) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Our research focuses on studying the neurological bases for speech and language. Towards this goal, we carry out studies that incorporate a wide range of methods in cognitive neuroscience, including brain imaging (e.g. fMRI, EEG, DTI, etc.), behavioural experimentations as well as computational and statistical modelling.
Though our research projects are mainly geared towards brain imaging studies, important as they are, we are also looking at the behavioural consequences in real-life situations as well their clinical and educational applications as well.
We are recruiting Postdoctoral Fellow(s), Project Officer and Ph.D/MA students for interdisciplinary projects on speech and language. Please see this page for details.
